IOR Group and IOR Petroleum are the same company. IOR Petroleum was founded in 1984 in the small Queensland town of Eromanga with the construction of the Eromanga Oil Refinery. The company has since rebranded from 'IOR Petroleum' to simply 'IOR' as part of their long-term vision to support customers with various fuel sources beyond traditional petroleum.

IOR provides a comprehensive range of fuel types including Diesel, Unleaded Petrol, Jet A-1 aviation fuel, Avgas, and AdBlue. Their services span the entire fuel supply chain, including bulk fuel delivery with dedicated tankers, fuel storage solutions, fuel monitoring and management systems, and on-site infrastructure installation. They operate a crude oil refinery, two major diesel import terminals, and provide specialised aviation fuel services.

IOR has a strong focus on regional and remote Australia, particularly serving the transport, agricultural, mining, and aviation industries. Their network includes over 115 unmanned diesel truck stops, 30+ aviation refuelling facilities, and numerous bulk fuel depots across the country. IOR is the only 100% Australian-owned fuel supplier operating across the entire fuel value chain.
